A brief history
C.I.M.E.S. (Centro Internazionale Materiali Edili Speciali) was founded in Suzzara thanks to the initiative of Ezio Marocchi and Macedonio Negri.
The company initially established itself with the production of quick hooks for reinforced concrete—an innovation that immediately achieved great success on the Italian and international construction markets.
In 1962, Giampaolo Negri, the founders’ son, took over and continued to expand the business with a strong technical and entrepreneurial approach. With the support of experienced collaborators such as Mr. Regattieri, the company moved to the Verona area to increase production, then returned to Suzzara to consolidate its production facilities, expanding over time to today’s headquarters.
