CONCRETE CARDBOARD FORMS

CIMES distributes in Italy high-strength disposable cardboard formwork systems, made of recycled paper fiber tubes and technical materials that guarantee:

  • Very high resistance to concrete pouring
  • Excellent external finishes
  • Environmental sustainability

Versatility of use

The formworks can be used:

  • For internal concrete casting, creating circular, square, rectangular, or polygonal columns
  • For external concrete casting, creating recessed voids for ducts and pipes (water, electricity, ventilation, heating, etc.)

  • Diameters: from 150 to 1200 mm
  • Customizable: from 1 to 12 meters in height at no extra cost

How to use formwork effectively

  • 1

    STORAGE
It is recommended to store the formworks vertically, avoiding contact with wet surfaces.

  • 2

    INSTALLATION
The reinforcement is placed inside the formwork using traditional systems. The internal surface eliminates the need for release agents. During insertion, care must be taken not to damage the internal surface. Installation is extremely fast and can be carried out using standard equipment.

    CONCRETE POURING
For optimal and uniform results, it is recommended to cast multiple columns at the same time. After pouring, vibrate inside the steel reinforcement using traditional methods. Do not vibrate externally with tools or equipment.

  • 4
    STRIPPING
Stripping must be carried out within 5 days after pouring.
The operation is easily performed by cutting the formwork vertically using an angle grinder or cutter, or by using the quick-stripping system already integrated in some formwork types.
Then open the formwork by pulling the two edges apart and release the column. To protect the column for the remaining construction period, reposition the two semicircular parts around it and secure them.
